INFORMATION BEFORE YOU APPLY
We strongly encourage your application, if…
- you are a scientist with an educational background in natural sciences and basic scientific experiences
- your research and interests should focus on biomedicine or related topics
- you (ideally) have already gathered experiences in the field of animal experiments or 3R approaches —BUT: no experience is not an exclusion criterion
- you speak English fluently
- you should be either enrolled in an undergraduate /graduate program (or equivalent education program), or must have attained your PhD/doctoral thesis less than 8 years ago
Most importantly…
- you need to be active, motivated and eager to create new creative solutions for a better future of biomedical research with(out) animal experiments
- restraint and introversion are absolutely no problem if you are open-minded towards teamwork and keen to evolve in a creative environment
- you will get 2 ECTS!
Costs to be considered include…
- you need to pay for your travel and accomodation
- we will charge a participation fee of 55 Euro – which will be used for the social events and charged after successful application
- catering will be provided for lunch
- social events are free
- we will provide several travel grants – confirmed participants will be informed about the application process in a timely manner

STEP 5: Pay the participation fee* to be a confirmed participant
STEP 6: Plan your trip and prepare your short presentation
STEP 7: Enjoy our Summer School!
*If we do not receive the participation fee in time, we will offer the participation to the next candidate on the waiting list
